Patricia began practicing yoga twelve years ago, as a way to stretch and relax after sports.  What she found was much more.  Her yoga practice and self inquiry, led her off of a self-destructive path, and onto a much more  joyous one.

She draws her knowledge and thoughtful instruction from her studies in anatomy and physiology, over 500 hours of yogic studies, her work experiences in the fields of physical therapy and bodywork, and her recent studies and travels in India.

Patricia's own practice and style of teaching are shaped by the need for balance of strength and ease in our bodies and minds, for optimal health.  She teaches and practices a breath centered yoga practice.  Her teachers and influences are:  T.K.V. Desikachar, Ana Forrest, Judith Lasiter, Mark Whitwell, Gary Kraftsow, Elise Miller, Leslie Kaminoff, Alan Finger, Alison West, Thich Nhat Han, The Dalai Lama, and Sri Satchidinanda.

Mission Statement:  Well Minded Body is dedicated to teaching others how to empower their minds and bodies, through the integration of movement, awareness of breath and meditation techniques.
